VILLAGE THEATRE WATERDOWN'S
STUDENT BURSARY

Consideration is given to students pursuing post secondary theatre arts in acting and those who excel in technical assistance supporting theatre arts. High school drama faculty review qualified candidates based on past participation in their high school drama program and community involvement in the arts. The bursary is presented at graduation ceremony.

Village Theatre Waterdown operates a refreshment concession at each performance to support this community initiative.

Please contact us if you know a student from Waterdown District High School or St. Mary Catholic Secondary School that should be considered for this annual bursary. Information will be forwarded to a Waterdown District High School and St Mary Catholic Secondary School faculty.

Volunteer opportunities are available to all high school students who have an interest in theatre arts.

Volunteer hours qualify for required minimum 40 hrs for Ontario Secondary School Diploma.
